📖 Scriptures: Luke 2:10–12; Philippians 1:12–26
🎙 Message: “Great Joy” – Rev. Romy Velasco
This Sunday, we continue our Advent journey by reflecting on the theme of Great Joy — the kind of joy that transforms us from the inside out. In Luke 2:10–12, the angels announce the birth of Jesus as “good news of great joy for all people.” This joy is not temporary or fragile; it is rooted in the arrival of the Savior.
In Philippians 1:12–26, we see the Apostle Paul living out this truth. Even while imprisoned, he speaks with confidence, hope, and joy because Christ is being proclaimed and God’s purpose is being fulfilled in his life. His example encourages us to find joy not in what we have, but in who God is and what He is doing.
Join Pastor Romy Velasco and the Green Camp UMC family as we celebrate the joy of Christ — joy that brings light into darkness, strength into our struggles, and hope into every day of our lives.
