Blessing of the Backpacks Wrap-Up

This past Sunday, Green Camp UMC gathered for a special moment of prayer and encouragement as we blessed the backpacks of our students. As the new school year begins, we took time during worship to pray over children and youth, asking God to guide, protect, and inspire them in the year ahead.

We also lifted up teachers, staff, and families who play such an important role in shaping the lives of our students. The blessing of the backpacks is a reminder that no matter where our kids go—to school, to activities, or back home again—they carry with them the love of God and the prayers of their church family.
