The Green Camp Lions Club and the Village Council are once again bringing Christmas cheer to the streets of Green Camp with the 3rd Annual Christmas in the Village, happening Thursday, December 4th, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 PM. This popular community celebration continues to grow each year, offering families a joyful and unforgettable start to the holiday season.

This year’s event will begin with a community favorite: Santa and Mrs. Claus arriving on a fire truck at 5:00 PM, officially kicking off the evening. Streets will be closed as the village transforms into a festive walk-through Christmas experience filled with activities, food, music, and holiday magic.

Among the highlights is a special visit from LIVE reindeer, stationed in the Methodist Church parking lot beside the Dairy Bar—an attraction sure to delight children and adults alike. Families can also enjoy a FREE hayride departing from the Berwick Pizza parking lot, where the restaurant will be selling $2 slices and their popular Christmas Tree Cake Dessert Pizza.

Food options continue throughout the village with Beef & Noodles available at the Pit Stop, and hot dogs served by the Green Camp Fire Department, which will also have trucks on display for kids to explore.

The Community Center will host Santa and Mrs. Claus throughout the evening, offering children a chance to visit, share wish lists, and enjoy free cookies and hot chocolate provided by the Methodist Church. Additional fun includes Lions Club kids games at the shelterhouse, free face painting inside the Methodist Church, and live Christmas music by Rob Titus in front of the Green Camp Pit Stop.

An Ugly Sweater Contest—open to all ages—will take place at 6:45 PM in front of the Pit Stop. Families can also meet the Sheriff’s Office mascot “Ruff,” take part in a community-wide coloring contest, and pick up blank letters to Santa at local businesses to drop off at the gazebo’s North Pole mailbox.

Keep an eye out for a walking Christmas Tree, Snowman, and Elf, who will be selling $1 commemorative ornaments. One ornament contains a special marking that will earn the lucky finder a gift card!

Parking will be available at both churches in town, the Firehouse, and the Vet Clinic.

With so many activities and attractions, this year’s Christmas in the Village promises to be the biggest and best yet. The Green Camp Lions Club and Village Council invite everyone to join in an evening of holiday fun, community spirit, and small-town charm.

🎄 Make plans to join us on December 4th — you won’t want to miss it! 🎅
