The community is invited to gather in remembrance and gratitude at the annual Green Camp Village Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 25 at 10:00 AM. This event, hosted by the Village of Green Camp, will take place at Green Camp Veteran's Park.

Memorial Day is a time to pause and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. This special service offers an opportunity for our community to come together in reflection, unity, and appreciation for those sacrifices.

This year’s service will include an invocation from Green Camp United Methodist Church’s Reverend Romeo Velasco, helping to open the gathering with a message of reverence and hope. The featured guest speaker, Mrs. Rebecca Johnson-Oldham, a respected member of the community, will share words to inspire remembrance and gratitude.

Following the service, all attendees are warmly invited to continue fellowship at the Green Camp Community Center, where coffee and cookies will be served.

Whether you have a personal connection to those who served or simply wish to honor their legacy, this Memorial Day service is a meaningful way to come together as a community. We encourage everyone to attend and take part in this important time of remembrance.
