What a wonderful day at Green Camp United Methodist Church! On Sunday, September 21, we joined churches all across the country in celebrating National Back to Church Sunday with the theme Life is Better Together.

The morning began with a special outdoor worship service, where we lifted our voices in song and reflected on the power of community and faith. We were especially blessed to welcome the Marionaires. Their harmonies reminded us that God’s love truly draws us together. Pastor Romeo's inspiring message reminded us that Life is Better Together!

After worship, the celebration continued with a delicious free lunch — hot dogs, shredded chicken, pasta salad, chips, and ice cream — and plenty of fellowship around the tables. Families and friends laughed and played together, enjoying activities for all ages:

  • 🎈 Kids bounced with joy in the bounce house

  • 🥏 Families teamed up for games of cornhole

  • 🎲 Adults had fun with a lighthearted team game (Price is Right style!)

  • 🍦 And of course, everyone enjoyed ice cream on a warm September afternoon

It was a beautiful reminder that church is more than a place to worship on Sunday mornings — it’s a community where people of all ages come together to share life, grow in faith, and encourage one another.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came, to those who invited friends and neighbors, and to all who helped make the day such a blessing. If you joined us for Back to Church Sunday, we hope you’ll come again soon — because at Green Camp UMC, every Sunday is a chance to be reminded that Life is Better Together.

📅 Join us next Sunday at 10:30 AM — we’d love to see you!
