Adult Sunday School at Green Camp United Methodist Church provides a place for thoughtful learning, open discussion, and spiritual growth. Each week, participants gather to explore Scripture and reflect on how God’s Word speaks into the challenges and opportunities of everyday life. All are welcome to join, no matter where they are on their faith journey.
On Sunday, April 26, our lesson, Bearing Burdens, will focus on Deuteronomy 1–15 and Psalms 11–17. In Deuteronomy, Moses reflects on Israel’s journey and reminds the people of God’s faithfulness, guidance, and the importance of obedience as they prepare to move forward. In the Psalms, we find honest expressions of trust, struggle, and reliance on God during difficult times.
During this lesson, participants will consider what it means to carry burdens faithfully. Life often brings challenges, responsibilities, and seasons of difficulty, but Scripture reminds us that we are not meant to bear these burdens alone. Through God’s presence, His Word, and the support of a faith community, we are strengthened to endure and grow.
Together, we will discuss how to trust God in times of hardship, how to support others who are carrying heavy burdens, and how faith can transform the way we face life’s challenges. This lesson encourages us to lean on God’s strength and walk alongside one another in compassion and grace.
Adult Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM, followed by worship at 10:30 AM. We invite you to join us as we continue growing in faith, resilience, and community.
