Sunday School Preview: August 16 – We’re Better Together

Adult Sunday School at Green Camp United Methodist Church provides a meaningful opportunity to grow in our understanding of Scripture and strengthen our relationship with God. Through open discussion and shared reflection, participants are encouraged to connect biblical truths with the realities of everyday life.

On Sunday, August 16, our lesson, We’re Better Together, will focus on 2 Chronicles 20–36 and Psalms 68–78. These passages cover important moments in the history of Judah, including times of conflict, leadership, spiritual renewal, and decline. Throughout these stories, we see the consequences of turning toward or away from God and the importance of remaining united in faith.

The Psalms included in this lesson provide another perspective, offering songs and prayers that celebrate God’s power, protection, and faithfulness. They remind us that worship is not simply an individual experience. There is great strength in coming together to remember what God has done, encourage one another, and give Him praise.

During this lesson, participants will reflect on the importance of community in the life of faith. We will discuss how we can support one another through difficult seasons, celebrate God’s faithfulness together, and recognize that we are stronger when we do not try to walk the journey alone.

This lesson reminds us that God calls us not only to trust Him individually, but also to live in fellowship with others. Our faith grows through encouragement, shared worship, prayer, and the wisdom we gain from one another. Together, we can face challenges, celebrate victories, and remain focused on God’s faithfulness.

Adult Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM, followed by worship at 10:30 AM. We invite you to join us as we continue learning, growing, and discovering why we truly are better together.
