Adult Sunday School at Green Camp United Methodist Church provides a meaningful opportunity for individuals to grow in their understanding of Scripture and strengthen their relationship with God. Through open discussion and shared reflection, participants are encouraged to apply biblical truths to everyday life.
On Sunday, August 2, our lesson, It’s Praying Time, will focus on 1 Chronicles 23–29 and 2 Chronicles 1–13. These passages highlight the closing days of David’s reign, the preparation and building of the temple, and the beginning of Solomon’s leadership.
Throughout these chapters, prayer plays a central role. David offers heartfelt praise and thanksgiving to God, while Solomon humbly seeks wisdom and guidance. Their examples remind us that prayer is essential—not only in times of need, but also in moments of gratitude, decision-making, and worship.
During this lesson, we will reflect on what it means to make prayer a consistent and intentional part of our lives. We will discuss how prayer aligns our hearts with God’s will, strengthens our faith, and brings clarity in times of uncertainty.
This lesson encourages us to move beyond seeing prayer as an occasional act and instead embrace it as a daily connection with God. Whether we are facing challenges, making decisions, or simply seeking peace, prayer opens the door for God to work in and through us.
Adult Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM, followed by worship at 10:30 AM. We invite you to join us as we grow together and discover the power of a life rooted in prayer.
