Adult Sunday School at Green Camp United Methodist Church offers a place for thoughtful learning, meaningful discussion, and spiritual growth. Each week, participants gather to explore Scripture and reflect on how God’s Word speaks into the transitions and challenges of everyday life. All are welcome to join, whether you are new or have been attending for years.
On Sunday, May 10, our lesson, Your Own Jordan River, will focus on Deuteronomy 29–34 and Joshua 1–16. These passages mark a significant turning point for the people of Israel as they move from the leadership of Moses to Joshua and prepare to enter the Promised Land. It is a time of both reflection and anticipation, filled with moments that require courage, obedience, and trust in God’s promises.
During this lesson, participants will reflect on what it means to face their own “Jordan River” moments—times of transition, uncertainty, or new beginnings that require stepping forward in faith. Just as God was faithful to guide and provide for Israel, we are reminded that He continues to lead us through life’s challenges and opportunities today.
Together, we will discuss how to trust God in seasons of change, how to find strength in His promises, and how faith can help us move forward even when the path ahead is unclear. This lesson encourages us to step forward with confidence, knowing that God goes before us and walks with us every step of the way.
Adult Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM, followed by worship at 10:30 AM. We invite you to join us as we continue growing in faith and learning to trust God in every season of life.
