Sunday School Preview: May 2 – Blessed or Cursed

Adult Sunday School at Green Camp United Methodist Church offers a welcoming environment for learning, discussion, and spiritual growth. Each week, participants gather to explore Scripture and reflect on how God’s Word continues to guide and shape our lives. Whether you are new or have been attending for years, you are always invited to join us.

On Sunday, May 2, our lesson, Blessed or Cursed, will focus on Deuteronomy 16–28 and Psalms 18–25. In these passages, Moses presents the people of Israel with a clear picture of the blessings that come from obedience to God and the consequences that follow turning away from His ways. At the same time, the Psalms provide a rich expression of trust, praise, and reliance on God as a source of strength and deliverance.

During this lesson, participants will reflect on the relationship between faith, obedience, and the direction of our lives. Scripture reminds us that God’s instructions are given not as burdens, but as guidance toward a life of purpose, peace, and blessing. Together, we will discuss how our daily choices, attitudes, and priorities can either draw us closer to God or lead us away from His intended path.

This lesson invites us to consider how we respond to God’s Word and how we can intentionally choose a life that aligns with His will. As we grow in understanding, we are encouraged to trust in God’s faithfulness and seek His guidance in every aspect of our lives.

Adult Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM, followed by worship at 10:30 AM. We invite you to join us as we continue growing in faith and discovering the blessings that come from walking in God’s ways.
