Sunday School Preview: May 24 – I Am a Winner

Adult Sunday School at Green Camp United Methodist Church provides a place for thoughtful learning, open discussion, and spiritual growth. Each week, participants gather to explore Scripture and reflect on how God’s Word speaks into the victories and challenges of everyday life. All are welcome to join, regardless of where they are on their faith journey.

On Sunday, May 24, our lesson, I Am a Winner, will focus on Joshua 17–24, Proverbs 15–17, and Judges 1–10. These passages highlight a time of transition and contrast—where God’s promises are fulfilled as the Israelites settle into the Promised Land, while also revealing the ongoing challenges they face in remaining faithful to Him. Alongside this, the wisdom of Proverbs offers guidance for living a life marked by integrity, humility, and trust in God.

During this lesson, participants will reflect on what it means to experience true victory. In Scripture, being a “winner” is not defined by worldly success, but by a life rooted in faith, obedience, and dependence on God. As we examine both moments of triumph and times of struggle in Israel’s history, we are reminded that God’s presence and guidance are essential for lasting success.

Together, we will discuss how to live with confidence in God’s promises, how to remain faithful in both good times and difficult seasons, and how to define victory through a biblical perspective. This lesson encourages us to see that, through God’s grace and faithfulness, we can walk in victory regardless of our circumstances.

Adult Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM, followed by worship at 10:30 AM. We invite you to join us as we continue growing in faith and discovering what it means to live victoriously in Christ.
