Sunday School Preview: May 31 – Trust His Track Record

Adult Sunday School at Green Camp United Methodist Church provides a place for thoughtful learning, open discussion, and spiritual growth. Each week, participants gather to explore Scripture and reflect on how God’s Word speaks into both the challenges and the victories of everyday life. All are welcome to join, no matter where they are on their faith journey.

On Sunday, May 31, our lesson, Trust His Track Record, will focus on Judges 11–21 and Psalms 26–37. These passages highlight a period in Israel’s history marked by inconsistency and struggle, where the people often turned away from God, yet continued to experience His mercy and deliverance. In contrast, the Psalms provide a voice of steady trust, reminding us of God’s righteousness, faithfulness, and enduring presence.

During this lesson, participants will reflect on how remembering God’s past faithfulness can strengthen trust in the present. Even when circumstances are difficult or confusing, Scripture encourages us to look back at how God has worked in our lives and throughout history as a foundation for hope moving forward.

Together, we will discuss how to build a faith that remains steady through life’s ups and downs, how to recognize God’s hand at work over time, and how trust in His character can guide our decisions and attitudes each day. This lesson invites us to rely not only on what we see in the moment, but on the consistent and faithful nature of God.

Adult Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM, followed by worship at 10:30 AM. We invite you to join us as we continue growing in faith and learning to trust God more deeply with each step of the journey.
