📖 Scripture: Matthew 2:1–12
🎙 Message: “The Wise Men” – Rev. Romy Velasco
Epiphany Sunday celebrates the revealing of Jesus Christ to the world. In Matthew 2, the Magi — often called the Wise Men — follow a star, trusting that God is guiding them toward something greater than they can fully understand.
Their journey is marked by persistence, courage, and faith. They travel far, ask hard questions, and refuse to stop seeking until they encounter the Christ child. When they finally arrive, their response is worship — offering their best to the One they have been searching for.
In this message, “The Wise Men,” Pastor Romy Velasco will reflect on what the story of the Magi teaches us about seeking God, recognizing Christ’s light, and responding with obedience and devotion. As we begin a new year, Epiphany invites us to follow where God leads and to remain open to how Christ is revealed in our lives today.
Join us at Green Camp United Methodist Church as we celebrate Epiphany and worship the light of the world together.
