🎙 Message: “Why Give Thanks?” – Rev. Romy Velasco

Before we gather around Thanksgiving tables, we invite you to join us for a special evening of worship and reflection at Green Camp United Methodist Church. Our Thanksgiving Eve service offers a quiet, sacred pause — a chance to remember why gratitude is at the heart of the Christian life.

In his message “Why Give Thanks?” Pastor Romy Velasco will explore two powerful passages of Scripture:

Romans 8 reminds us that we are children of God, heirs with Christ, and never alone — even in seasons of suffering or uncertainty.

1 Corinthians 12 teaches that God has given each of us unique spiritual gifts, drawing us together as one body united in purpose.

These truths invite us to give thanks not only for what God provides, but for the identity and calling He gives each of us.

Everyone is welcome to join us for this meaningful evening of worship, prayer, and gratitude.
