🎙 Message: Will We See Each Other in Heaven? – Rev. Romy Velasco

When we lose someone dear to us, our hearts naturally long to know what awaits beyond this life. On this All Saints Day, Rev. Romy Velasco brings us a message grounded in the comforting promises of Scripture. Looking at Jesus' post-resurrection appearance in Luke 24, where He invites His disciples to see and touch His transformed body, we are reminded that our future resurrection is real, physical, and recognizable.

Paul writes in Philippians that our true citizenship is in heaven, and that Christ will transform our humble bodies to be like His glorious body. This truth gives us enduring hope in times of grief. In Revelation 7, John offers a vision of the redeemed—a great multitude from every nation, standing before the throne in white robes, where hunger, thirst, and sorrow exist no more, and where God Himself wipes away every tear.

This passage reassures us that our relationships and identities are not erased in eternity, but perfected in the presence of God. As we pause to remember the saints and loved ones who have gone before us, we do not grieve as those who have no hope; instead, we look forward to a joyful reunion in the kingdom of God.

Our All Saints Day service will be a deeply meaningful time of worship. We will celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion, and our church choir will share a special musical performance in honor of the day. Following the service, all are invited to gather in the fellowship hall for a church-wide potluck meal. Bring a dish to share and enjoy an afternoon of warm community and connection.
