Grateful for Our Pastor and His Family

Pastor Appreciation Day is a special opportunity for churches to recognize and give thanks for their pastors and their families. Pastors dedicate countless hours to serving, teaching, praying, encouraging, and caring for their congregations, often in ways that happen behind the scenes. It is a day to pause, express our gratitude, and remind our pastors that their faithful service and ministry are valued and appreciated.

We want to take a moment to say thank you to our pastor, Rev. Romy Velasco, and his wife, Chona.

Rev. Romy and Chona, we are grateful for the way you lead us, encourage us, pray with us, and faithfully share God’s Word with us. Thank you for being there for our church family, not only on Sunday mornings, but throughout the week and in all the moments that make up the life of a church. We know that ministry is a calling that reaches beyond the pastor, and we appreciate the love, encouragement, and support you both give to all of us at Green Camp UMC.

We are truly blessed to have you both as part of our church family. Thank you for all you do, for the love you share, and for the ways you help make Green Camp UMC a place where people can worship, grow, and feel at home.
