Green Camp UMC Raises Over $500 for Timmy’s Pennies for Shoes Mission

Green Camp United Methodist Church is proud to share the success of our recent mission effort, Timmy’s Pennies for Shoes. Thanks to the generosity and participation of our church family and community, we raised a total of $505.93 to support this meaningful cause.

These funds will benefit the Cents for Shoes Program of Marion County, an initiative dedicated to providing new shoes for children in need throughout our local area. For many families, something as simple as a reliable pair of shoes can make a significant difference in a child’s comfort, confidence, and ability to participate fully in school and daily activities.

This mission was a wonderful reminder that even small contributions—like pennies—can add up to create a lasting impact. We are grateful to everyone who contributed, whether by giving or supporting the effort in other ways. Thank you for being a church that continues to live out its faith through service, compassion, and community support.
