Sunday School Preview: April 12 – Delay Does Not Mean Denial

Adult Sunday School at Green Camp United Methodist Church offers a place to grow deeper in faith through thoughtful study, open discussion, and meaningful reflection on Scripture. Each week, participants gather to explore God’s Word and consider how it speaks into the realities of everyday life. All are welcome to join, whether you are new or have been attending for years.

On Sunday, April 12, our lesson, Delay Does Not Mean Denial, will focus on Numbers 14–26 and Proverbs 8–14. These passages highlight a significant period in Israel’s wilderness journey—a time marked by waiting, testing, and consequences, but also by God’s continued presence and faithfulness. Alongside this, the wisdom found in Proverbs reminds us of the value of patience, understanding, and trusting in God’s timing.

During this lesson, participants will reflect on how delays in life can challenge our faith and test our trust in God’s promises. Through the experiences of the Israelites, we are reminded that God’s plans often unfold over time and that waiting does not mean God has forgotten or abandoned His people. Instead, these seasons can be opportunities for growth, refinement, and deeper reliance on Him.

Together, we will discuss how to remain faithful and hopeful in times of uncertainty, trusting that God’s timing is purposeful and His promises are sure. This lesson encourages us to see waiting not as denial, but as part of God’s greater plan at work in our lives.

Adult Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM, followed by worship at 10:30 AM. We invite you to join us as we continue growing in patience, trust, and confidence in God’s faithful timing.
