Sunday School Preview: April 19 – I’m Just a Vessel

Adult Sunday School at Green Camp United Methodist Church offers a place for thoughtful study, meaningful conversation, and spiritual growth. Each week, participants gather to explore Scripture and reflect on how God’s Word continues to shape and guide our lives. Whether you are new or have been attending for years, you are always welcome to join us.

On Sunday, April 19, our lesson, I’m Just a Vessel, will focus on Numbers 27–36 and Mark 1–16. These passages highlight moments of transition, leadership, and faithful service, alongside the ministry of Jesus as He teaches, heals, and calls others to follow Him. Together, they point to the powerful truth that God works through ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary purposes.

During this lesson, participants will reflect on what it means to be a vessel for God’s work. In Numbers, we see the passing of leadership and the continuation of God’s plan through new individuals. In the Gospel of Mark, we witness how Jesus calls disciples and empowers them to take part in His mission. These stories remind us that faithfulness and willingness matter more than status or ability.

Together, we will discuss how we can open our lives to God’s leading and allow Him to work through us in our daily interactions, decisions, and relationships. This lesson encourages us to trust that God can use each of us, just as we are, to make a meaningful impact for His kingdom.

Adult Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM, followed by worship at 10:30 AM. We invite you to join us as we continue growing in faith and discovering how God can work through us as willing vessels.
