Adult Sunday School at Green Camp United Methodist Church offers a space for deeper understanding, thoughtful conversation, and spiritual growth. Each week, participants gather to explore Scripture and reflect on how God’s Word speaks into both the challenges and blessings of everyday life. All are welcome to join this time of learning and connection.
On Sunday, March 1, our lesson, Thank God for the Crushing, will focus on Exodus 19–40. These chapters describe the Israelites’ encounter with God at Mount Sinai, the giving of the Law, and the detailed instructions for worship and community life. This portion of Scripture highlights a powerful moment of transformation, where God shapes His people through both revelation and refinement.
During this lesson, participants will consider how times of “crushing”—moments of pressure, correction, or spiritual stretching—can be used by God to form character, deepen faith, and prepare us for greater purpose. While these experiences are often difficult, they can also become opportunities to draw nearer to God and better understand His holiness, guidance, and desire for relationship with His people.
Together, we will reflect on how God’s presence and instruction in Exodus continue to speak into our lives today, reminding us that even in challenging seasons, God is at work shaping us for something greater.
Adult Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM, followed by worship at 10:30 AM. We invite you to join us as we continue growing in faith, resilience, and trust in God’s refining work.
