Every fall, thousands of churches across the country take part in a movement called National Back to Church Sunday. It’s a simple but powerful idea: extend an open invitation to our friends, neighbors, and community to discover (or rediscover) the joy of being part of a church family.

At Green Camp United Methodist Church, we believe this year’s theme says it best: Life is Better Together.

Whether you’ve never been to church, it’s been a while, or you’re here every Sunday — Back to Church Sunday is for you. It’s about community, encouragement, and hope. It’s about finding a place where you can belong.

What You Can Expect at Green Camp UMC

On Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 10:30 AM, we’ll gather for a special outdoor worship service. Here’s what’s planned:

  • Uplifting Worship & Encouraging Message — reminding us that life truly is better together

  • Live Music — enjoy the sounds of the Marionaires during and after worship

  • Free Lunch — hot dogs, shredded chicken, pasta salad, chips, and ice cream

  • Fun for All Ages — bounce house and corn hole after the service

Why Back to Church Sunday Matters

For many people, an invitation is all it takes. Sometimes life pulls us away, but this day reminds us that God and community are always ready to welcome us back with open arms.
